Interview with James D. Burke / by Don Bane.

Burke describes his family's interest in flight, how he first came to JPL, and his early work on Loki and Corporal, including anecdotes about launches at White Sands. He describes visiting Sandia National Laboratories, working on Sergeant, some of the early JPL employees, the effects of Sputnik on the American Space program, lunar exploration, the Grand Tour of the planets, the Comet Rendezvous and Asteroid Flyby (CRAF) mission and his proposal for a balloon mission on Mars.
